a walk on the beach

By Nuada

bone bleached stone upon he sand
sitting immobile standing alone
moving forever in a slow
monotone
water drenched wood upon the beach
rolling up and down to the time of surf
it brings to light the sound of waves
too rich to ignore they ring in my ears
it speaks of times lost long ago
telling us tales of things unknown
what a life it must lead
to hold so many secrets and not one
it can share
to hold so many secrets
given only to the dead
