dead eye factory
By Saint Sentient
life happens. like a picture-work.
dragging heads across the pavement.
I never saw this happen
but Im sure it happened
red
in flavor
and the oh so delectable
it's far too easy to get caught up
in the familiarities.
step one- and we're back on the right track
climbing this road to nowhere -
swinging our eyes upon the lotions
yet, we have so much to learn :
so I drink
I drink to this success.
and trip on the cords that held you to
'what if'
with a label left on empty- next to the broken cosmos
dream. _reality is far too overrated.
my eyes have gone arid. the tears are numbered
under an impossibly red sky/ I caught a glimpse of passion
and I clung to what could never be.
-
it's pointless.
drape an incoherent line upon a broken canvas
and it can never go away
as I scream:[fuck] the inconsistancies.
another dream washed away in the red eye of denial
I'd give it all away. Just to see
just to taste what I can never have

this is almost song like with some repetitions and despite the acerbic feel it flowed quite well; snappy intonations of emotive concepts which added to the depth. once again original. ~m~

wow, this is brilliant... the energy is raw and potent, "reality is far too overrated" delicious.... and the working of the structure is excellent, well emphasised and original. Thank you.
