Rising

By Nuada

i watch the sun
as it rises aloft
lighting the way
for the shadows
to chase

I watch the sun as it sets
in the west
bringing nights embrace

the moon it glows
with a silent smile
its tender caress
illuminating
all the while....

tears gone stale
for a love gone cold
regrets unveiled
for a passion grown old
shakes and sobs
for a story untold........

I follow its path
as it graces the sky
falling to the east
slowly fading
as the sun chases
it with a tender glee

i love the 4th stanza, although the poem in its entirety is wonderful. your useage of words to etch out a scene,a feeling,a time, is amazing.i feel as if i am there, feeling the same. *excellent*
