Deprived

By DarkSoul

Feeling so alone I stand here
Wanting for that one thing,
That craving that all men have.
Gods and mortal men alike,
All have felt its pull, its lure.
That sense so wonderful, so sublime.
That feel, that press of flesh.
This desire burns within me
For the caress of another.
A touch not empty of feeling,
But a feeling filled with tenderness.
So serene, the touch of one who loves you.
No better feeling can there be
Than to be loved,
But cursed am I,
So foolish and unthinking
To have thrown it all away.
I’ve had it once, I’ve felt it many times.
Though it has been gone for many days,
I still remember what it’s like
To feel the touch of one who loves you.
This remembrance brings a painful joy,
A joy of memories that once had lived
And now are dying, now are fading fast.
Fast into the void they flee.
This pain shall be the end of me,
But I am searching for another,
A girl who knows what pleasure there can be
In just one simple loving touch,
A girl who will not let me be deprived.
