The battle in my brain

By Crimson_Angel

I sat secluded from the world.
falling further more into my endless pit of despair,
with barely enough courage to let even a single tear fall from my eye and chance being seen.

Battling my ownself in my mind,
trapped in a cage I have created on my own,
hiding further and further away from the world..until
one day...I am gone.

I am no longer afraid of the black robed judges.
Cursed as a child, living to find a cure, but losing hope
steadily along the way.

I sometimes find myself in moments of total despair, acceptence, and then guilt. Oh well that is why we write good poetry like this piece.
