Sonnet of the Midnight

By Dark_Specter

When I wake in the mid of night
certain thoughts rush through my mind
of how humans once saw the light
and how life can be so unkind
the deep darkness fills my room
the same it fills mens hearts
it makes me think of so many wounds
that are made by metaphorical darts
These are thrown by whom the man onced loved
they hurt worst then normal pain
The one he loved no longer like the sweet dove
but now more like the thundering rain
and as he treds it makes him feel like nothing
it makes him wish he could Actually do something
