Longing.

By call to arms

It hurts when you smile
You make my heart bleed
If only I could kiss you
You're all that I need.
My hands are still
You're in my eyes
If your thoughts consumed
Then I'd comprimise.
My heart beats only
With the steps that you take
I'm losing hope now
With every move you don't make.
If my life continues
Without you by my side
One morning I'll wake up
Wishing I'd died.
Nothing's the same
Now that your eyes are gone
I've waited forever
It's felt like so long.
You don't listen or care
Or even seem to see
The hurt, the pain
Bitterness you've caused me.
I stand here today
Wishing for the end
I'm not okay
I can no longer pretend.
