Blood for Oil

By Soulfire

They say "heavy hangs the head that wears the crown"
But you sit in the White House while the shit goes down

You send my family and friends to die
"Weapons of mass destruction" what a fucking lie

Many I love have bought into your lies... they were deployed
They never returned... how many families will you destroy?

Weapons, oil, Bin Laden...what is this war about?
How many have to die before you feel my doubt?

Power corrupts the most honest soul
Who wants to stop when they have control?

We trade blood for oil
Killing women and children on tainted soil

  • A former member wrote: *shivers up my spine* amen, AMEN! Yeah, Bush and his Authorities, hidden in the Cabinet, really feel this war. Vacationing, golfing, thumbs up this and go-get-em-boys that. Their pockets are stuffed and our cupboards are empty.

The sad thing about this poem is the fact that it is so damn true. Busch is not interested in the weapons of mass destruction, were it not for the oil this war probably would not have happened. Its all a fight for power
