THE KID AND LIGHTNING JACK

By DarkPaladine

The kid was young standing there at the bar.
You could tell by the way he talked he was
fresh from the farm.
His mouth was loud and he was proud of how
fast he was with a gun.
This kid was stupid if he thought killing
a man was fun.
His eyes were bright and his mouth to loud
so I told him to shut his face.
You could hear a heartbeat,as quiet came
over the place.
Your very rude to interrupe me. Why if I
think about it,I'll shoot you in the face.
I put down my drink and turned around and
faced the little man.
I told him to quit useing words and put
that gun in his hand.
I'll give you just a minute to leave this
place.
And if you think your good enough you can
meet me outside face to face.
I turned around and started heading toward
the door
The kid made his move and drew his gun and
now he lays there on the floor.
You could still see the look of surprize
on his face as he laid there on his back.
He did not know the man he faced was the
one called Lightning Jack.
