Love Song

By Savannah

The rain was pouring down that day,
Clouds covering the sky,
Yet, my heart lit up like sunshine,
As I gazed into your eyes.

With thunder crashing round us,
And lightning throwing sparks,
It was peaceful on my porch that day.
On the day you stole my heart.

You held all my attention,
With your mesmerizing song.
Pure beauty flowed from your guitar,
And raindrops played along.

The moon, it could have fallen,
Came crashing to the ground.
It could have stopped the world from spinning,
I would have never turned around.

As we sat on my front porch that day,
And you played on your guitar,
I fell in love with your sweet lullaby.
On the day you stole my heart.

"Pure beauty flowed from your guitar, And raindrops played along" that is an absolutely incredible line.. this whole poem is gorgeous, and so real. Beautifully perfect.
