# 03

By december

she wants to die in november
while the air is crisp and cool
she's sick of being overlooked
and tired of playing the fool.

she wants to die in november
while the leaves are flashes of red
yellow, orange, gold and brown
by winter she'll be dead.

she wants to die in november
because it hurts too much to live
with all the pain they've put her through
something has got to give.

she's going to die in november
and no one will know her name
in two weeks she'll be forgotten
her life was such a shame..

"she's wants to die in november" haunting to say the least...and rather pointed with repetition...such a sad write. ~b

the scheme and flow on this is very well done. Hits hard and sad, great work.

This is perhaps the only poem I've read with the same line starting each stanza where I haven't skipped the majority of it. The rhyme scheme worked well with it, and you kept the beat skullfully. I hope November shows her its beauty and changes her mind..
