Hollywood's spiraling misery

By Swooping Synod

infested with tears of insanity
melting the skin of my imperfect soul
revealing the darkness in the light
holding fistfulls of pain impaling
my fragile crimson wings gangrene
seeping through unseen wounds

do you care that i'm spiraling down?

down into this abyss of my human life

would you care if i crash-landed in hell?

do the wolves outside your
window still howl for my return?
do you grow bored with
damnation as my cinders burn?

was i ever anything?

was i even nothing?

blooming in moonlight while doors
are kicked open revealing caskets
oozing blood of ancestors passed on
soaking the ground helping death's
flowers grow with tremendous bulbs
breaking and shattering amongst cages

do you care that i'm incarcerated within you?

you scream to let me out,but it's not that simple

is anything?

ever?

simplicity and innocence died in
misery with purity and faith
the hollywood ending was out of the question
the budget allows for nothing
the hero dies in an abyss of shame
while the villain skullfucks the fair maiden
