heroine
By Belle
it takes me
by the throat
screams into me
it rules me
it is unforgiving
It has been one day
since my last confession
this is my addiction
it grips me
like death
makes me close my eyes
to bitter sweet darkness
makes my eyes clouded with guilt
makes me wish I could change
what has all ready been done
what has all ready become
making me cover the scars
hollow like graves
to stop grieving
and start believing
that I might be able to make it
through this.
