Cherry Cola
By Belle
Sick
The way that out of death
Comes life
I feel everything
from the winds blowing south
to your words
that riccochet off of my bones
and rattle around inside of me
you split my heart
and you took one half
all to yourself
how amazing of you
but I never cease to stop
murdering myself
line after line
following the street lights
down to your house
every precious rock
thrown through your windows
repeating the past
because the future means nothing
if you change for me-
grow magnificent wings
where your shoulder blades
should prominently be,
and with a glass of water
and a spoon full of sugar
we will waste our lives away
help the medicine spiral down
the truth
wouldn't be so hard to swallow
if it was inside of a pill
