Emily Anne

By Belle

This embryonic casket
Marked with your mothers tears
Marked with rememberance.
We will ignite a candle
To set a blaze to all these memories
Let it burn into the fields of this country side.
I am a matriarch
I am an ancestor
A governer of death
A begetter of loss
I will betray you
Sweet child
I will capture your essence
To sell it to the world
Sweet innocent child
I am a murderer.
You were all I ached for
All I craved
But, I am but a derelict
Deserving of only stone
Yet, your charming heart
Still trembles inside my belly

...rather sad...I for one believe in the pro-choice side, however it would be a lie to say it wasn't sad to see young women use that choice to try to correct an accident...nicely written; I admit you have set your point very creatively here... -Darun Scholar

I say that abortion is the choice of the woman who carries the baby...but my goddaughter almost didn't make it. And that is something I just can't stomach. This broke my heart. Wonderfully written *~seraph~*
