My Sad Song

By Heart of Stone

I've lost all desire to move on
If this happened to us
It will happen to me again
My heart is no longer a metronome
For my song entitled "Life"
I've forgotten the beat
And my pages have blown away
I wish I knew how to improvise
Make people believe I am ok
But I'm not so why lie?
Why make them love a song
That does not exsist
Why make them listen to a symphony
That they'll never hear again
Dare I bow and take pride
In the pain I've just played for them?

oh god this is sad...i can relate to this, the feeling that history will repeat itself, and the realization that if your past was horrible you are doomed to relive that...hope it gets better *hugs*
