Fall No More

By The Fallen Angel

Sheltered in Hate
Profound in my dismay
Cloaked within my vain
My Flesh has met its fate

For the first time
The abyss rained,
Falling on the crown of my head
Anointing me in pandemonium
In a flood of flames and dread

I am no one
I have no one
But the whispers of myself hatred
They keep me company
And choke my hollow breath

Morbid dreams lay before me
And when I close my eyes
My spirit and my mind
They still remain and will not flee

False is my hope, wishes shan’t transpire
The tides of fire will only rise
High to swallow me

Pinch my wounds and find no red
Break my pride, tears don’t shed
In lust I trust, the aspire for desire
The God who taxed my heart is dead

And those who advanced upon my unwilling corpse
Now feel my pain and call me Lord
Beside the gods and beneath the ire of my hands
When the rains fall no more

brilliant work, held a lot of meaning and anguish felt truelly like i was reading the thoughts of a fallen angel, and really well worded that gives it more power and the last verse was magnificent
