Trepidation

By aXe FactoR

The twilight broke through and sheds light to the tainted soul of hers.
Sitting in a corner, she's adrift in the vast abyss of space and time.
Combing her long raven tresses with her fingers, she held up a few stray locks and took a whiff.
Closing her eyes, she inhaled... exhaled...
Adorned on her was her favorite cloak to keep her from the bitter coldness.
Somehow today, it resembled a canvas of pain, laden on her weak vessel.
The chilling iciness bit into her rips, as she began nibbling her nails.
Nibbling... biting... chewing...
Blood ran down her hands to her elbows and she continued chewing right into her flesh.
She didn't stop, continuing in her sadistic slay, deriving pleasure from pain.
The tips of her fingers, stained crimson with her own cruor.

Overwhelmed by thoughts of her abhorrence, she asphyxiates.
She stares at him all laid out inanimate in front of her.
Slowly, she reaches out a hand, caressing his cheek.
Using her fingers, she traced his naked body with a featherlike touch
To the point where she had emasculated him.
His penis all shriveled, stale, torrid lying beside him.
Looking at its pathetic state, she gave a heinous giggle
He could never use it to delude her again.

She lays near death at this time, resting her head on his chest.
A sight of her wrists, split open in carmine lacerations
As she mouths a last song.

A lullaby of betrayal
