I've realized and wondered why
I'm not depressed anymore
Perhaps it's a smile I've never seen
The kiss I won't receive
Surly your eyes I won't gaze
Is what I miss the most
The touch of your fingertips
That haven't even touched my skin
Yet
I can't understand why I'm happy
When I think of you and frown
Knowing others are around you
Hugging and kissing
What should be mine
And I'm left to look upwards
Praying to the lonely moon
If only you could hear my loving words
Soon
Logically I should be sad
When it comes to strong emotions
But they flood my heart
And fill me with untouched fantasies
Thinking of being safe in your arms
Wrapped in nothing but trust
Why do I feel such content emptiness
When I know there can be more
With you
