Falling Angel

By Anaelle

I see you're starting to fall
And I'm the one who's lying?
You've seen it all before
Isn't this what you enjoy?
Girls on their knees
Pretending you don't see the tears
And they still call you an Angel
Feather's falling, with gentle strokes
Because you've lost your wings
So long ago, you fell from grace
And I'm laughing now
Shouldn't you be smiling too?
Aren't the lies so beautiful
When they start to unravel?
Dangerously dark swirls
Tangling about your fingertips
Circling around your throat
Doesn't the caress feel sweet?
Living so close to the edge
But you're falling now
Painfully delighted at the sight
And I'm the one smiling
Though I can hear them...
Silently weeping for their angel
How they make the deceit elegant
Love twisting about your veins
Filling you with what you need
Now can you hear their tears?
When you're the one falling...
