Angel's Tears

By Anaelle

What're you so afraid of?
You'll wet your pillow at night?
Once started, the flood won't stop?
Blink and I'll show you my smile
But precious tears I'll never see
They won't rot your skin
They won't make you weak at heart
A man who cries - blink
And I'll show you my flood of emotions
Silky touch against fingertips
I'll wipe them away, gentle as ever
I'll take care not to break you
They'll slip past your lips so soft
And I'll clean them with a gentle kiss
Can you taste the salt already?
From past memories, long gone
Blink, please, just blink once
And I won't ever ask you again
Just to glimpse an angel crying
When he never thought he could...
