Addicted

By Anaelle

Laying a kiss upon your palm
I'll take away your tears
I'll be your wall
With crumbling bricks
Breaking only when you wish it
I'll be your shoulder
Welcoming your pained cries
Telling you it's alright
It's alright, it's okay
I'll be your sent angel
Thrown away by God
But I'll protect you
Wrap you up in golden feathers
Kissing you gently
With a feverish touch
It's okay now, you're safe
I'll become your drug
Feeding your addiction
It's alright, take another bite
No - stop crying
I'll take the pain away
I'll be your sedative
I'll be there
It's okay
It's alright
...Whispers...
