Possibilities

By Anaelle

Will we be friends again?
Dancing in each other's laughter
Will we play and fight
Arguing about the trivial things of life
Remembering the past
Of long forgotten memories
Will I ever see you again?
Talk to you as careful as a child
Will the pain slip away
As love rebuilds itself once more
Will you ever think about me again?
Remembering with fondness my smile
My laughter, my comfort...
Will I drink in your happiness
Leaving such a sweet taste
That never seems to fade with time
Will I drown in your eyes again
Swelling emotions turned addictive
Will I touch you for the first time
Discovering your feel
And falling in love all over again
Perhaps...will you love me again?

Perfectly suited title. Hope is often just as hard to hold onto as love. Well done.
