Drunk

By Tangent Ponderings

Oh the shots
And the clock
How it stops when
The shots don’t
They keep coming
Cause you are running away
If you stay you will fail
If stop you will fall
So just keep on running
If you stop you will stall
But before you can quit
You must try to relate
Though the anger it builds
Till your left with the hate
And with hate comes mistrust
And mistrust leads to drinks
That’s why I am here
Throwing up in the sinks
In my house on the walls
At the show in the stalls
Trying to live
And trying to fight
Staying up to get drunk
Like every night

What a coincidence, I'm drunk right now too. And I do know the feeling of drinking to escape and throwing up in different places.
