all these visions pass before my eyes
and i cant catch my breath
long enough to wipe
the tears from my eyes

my heart pounts loudly
not to be confused
with the beating on the door

drenched with rain
and shaking all over
as i drift to sleep in a ditch somewhere

i can smell the bleach
as you pour it down the sink
out of the drink
i made to poison myself

i bite my nails and
watch the sun do down
another day gone and i've got nothing but
