He's back.

By Trichotillomaniac

He dissapeared for awhile
To only come back.
Why didn't I see this coming?
The boy who didn't believe in girlfriends
Who thought we were "in-between".
I tried to forget, I found someone new.
But he's back.

I loved him for who he was like, not was.
How selfish is that?
A mirror of my first true love.
I had to have him.
Now I regret, the day we re-met.
The day we finally connected.

He tells me he doesn't believe in emotions
Beyond the human mind.
The words he once said
Echo clearly in my ears
Throbbing, pulsating.

God, why did he have to come back?
I find someone new, who's nice and sweet.
That's about as rare as it comes.
But he's back and I want him.
Now I toy with two human hearts.

Why did he have to come back?
