Despair

By LIFEINVADER

In shadows deep, time's cruel hand unfurls,
and bonds once strong, decay as life swirls,
yet, from the storm that silently we bore,
a tainted strength emerges, forevermore.

We are the silent ones, misfits at heart,
still waters run deep, where despair's tides start,
in this empty room, we contemplate,
a world transformed, where destinies await.

The tempest stirs, with restless waves we rise,
to face the truth that every soul shall guise,
the hours slip away, but our spirit prevails,
through trials endured, where hope often fails.

No longer lost echoes, but voices clear,
resonating with the truths we hold dear,
family ties once worn thin by the strain,
now strengthened by the storm's enduring reign.

In the grand tapestry, we shall etch our mark,
a testament to the strength within the dark,
for life's great collapse, a chance to start anew,
to cleanse the scars and darkness that we grew.

As misfits, we were born, seeking a place to mend,
oour tainted souls, with dreams to apprehend,
and in the struggle, life's meaning we may find,
as we wrestle with heart and mind.

Thus, we march on, as time's ceaseless tide,
our souls entwined, our spirits side by side,
for we are the storm, a force to reconceive,
a fusion of despair and hope's reprieve.

I wish for a new beginning, strong and vast,
to break the chains of sorrow from our past,
with bittersweet embrace, we face the morn,
unveiling hope in a world reborn.

As misfits, we embrace the world's demise,
knowing endings pave the path to the wise,
from the ruins, hope shall re-ascend,
as we become the storm, our spirits mend.

Through trials faced and battles hard-fought,
the strength we find in storms we're taught,
in still waters cut deep, strength shall be found,
as we, the tainted storm, on life's stage resound.
