Whispers in the Pine

By LIFEINVADER

Whispers echo through the pine,
a somber tune, a deathly line.
ll that's living must depart, and find its way into the dark.

But fear not, for in death's embrace,
we'll see the ones we couldn't face,
a final song, a final kiss,
before we slip into eternal bliss.

Farewell to life, it's been so sweet,
but now it's time for us to meet,
the final journey, we must take,
alone, but memories will never break.

The pine trees stand tall and true,
a silent witness to the final adieu,
but in our hearts, you'll forever stay,
a part of us, until our dying day.

Really like this optimistic view on death and the use of the whispers in the pines image. Good stuff :)
