darkness prevails
By eternal despair
At one time fearless, saints on holy ground.
Moving onward to conquer unkown territories.
Fire filled darkness.
Brutal screams.
Yet confidently they crusade to ovrethrow.
Vile sights of inhuman acts.
"Onward!" they howl.
Shadows of morbid soldiers in the night seen in a distance.
Fear overpowers.
Like cowards they scatter, captured one by one by demonic souls.
Bloodshed.
Crucified.
Once brave, now slaughtered.
They beg for their lives. Slit throats.
Still alive they ar hollowed out and burned. transformed in to heartless
vicious beasts.
Once again darkness prevails.
