Bee Sting Sorrow

By JensGoneMad

So sorry she smashed him,
pain can make people do odd
cruel things.
Yesterday pollinating flowers
bushes vibrating from buzzing
and leaves shaking from tiny bee wings.
Early morning sun crept up
on her once more,
running behind
usually doing her make-up in the car.
She simply swatted something
then watched it fall to the floor.
The silence was profound
when the bush went still
and a tear drop fell from
her son's eye.
Left behind,
swollen, red, sting
and bee sting sorrow.
