Fading

I feel my hope fading away
My life growing darker each day
Uncertain if I want to live or die
Maybe I will just sit alone and cry
I know my love would be forever true
But it could not live if he ever knew
I live in a world so dark, and hidden from sight
I would be vanquished by his light
If I could start my life anew
I would seek out his heart
So pure, so true
