On the edge of every thought

By midnights voice

On the edge of every thought

.
.
have your decisions
come down to the edge
of being razor thin

do you find yourself
looking down
into the wind

maybe the papers
in your hand
have taken away
the desire
to make a stand

do you wish
the constant assaults
would just go away

the fear of the unanswered
leaves exhaustion
that lasts day after day

and you find
yourself asking
then denying , then accepting
a fate that will be
everlasting

the worries
nag and leave you
mentally exhausted

you wish the voices
wouldn't leave
you like a hostage

there . . . standing there
on the edge
do you find yourself questioning
no more than wind
and ledge

Life can sometimes or all the time be a whirlwind. Fear likes to say better the whirlwind you know than the one you don't. Amazingly enough it can all be sort of complacent right in the vortex of those thoughts. I wish you the best with whatever you're struggling to figure out.
