I turned and caught you by surprise
And captured on camera the moment
Without your disguise
I was overjoyed and expected to see
All of your inner beauty
Displayed there for me
But when my gaze had settled in
I found the truth
You couldn't keep hidden then
And in the corners of your eyes
Imagine the pain that
I saw deep inside
The truth you bore , that you kept bare
The more I gazed
The more I was made aware
And all my hopes , and all my dreams
Had somehow withered and
Blown my life a skeem
