Evergreen.

Bruma.
Come, steal me the sun
and bury away it's glow
in smoke, ash and coal.
Cover me in cold.
Ice and frost, silver and snow.
Harden mind and soul.
Like Pines.
The pillars that held my dreams,
so before, and ever shall be.
Tall.
Stark.
Bleak.
Evergreen.

More than a welcoming of the solstice, this seems to be a magical invocation - asking for it to embrace you. Beautiful.

I love simple poems like this. Ones that end up not being simple at all. I like the way you’ve put it together with haiku too, nice touch. Very inspiring piece for me, thank you.

Such a hopeful piece, to me, that gives me inner peace and a warm glow against hard winter times. Brilliant.

"Come, steal me the sun, and bury away its glow" I love the way this sets the rest of the poem up. Wonderful imagery throughout.
