Auburn Etch-A-Sketch

A work inspired by (un)sober.

There are etch a sketch
--Etchings; marinating
Fresh-auburn-apples
And whiskey tonic for bruises,
These feet only work windways.
As the pretense of evenings
Bestills demons again-
Hampering frostbite comforts me,
As a cipher of former being.

I could always see-

You
                                           
As the detriments frayed      
Tendons and-                  
                                      .
This ability                    t
                                a
                             o
                o         l
             T         f
