Resurrection

By Paradoxology

~ Resurrection ~

“After ever sorrowful,” the fairy said to him
The story’s end had come again
Before it went to where it’s been
For when I turned around
My storybook turned upside down
And love forever lost shall there be found...

The maiden picking up the knife
Will slide the blade across his neck
To heal the wound the future made
The past erased by coming back
And all the blood shall disappear...

...And as the setting sun did rise
They walked away together backwards
Once upon a time

Time had done the crime
