You'd better pray (He's listening)
By A poet of madness
My broken bones have healed
From the times you went astray
With your fervor and your zeal
And forgot your savior's way
You see I'm not like you
But I sin too
But as you will see
I don't turn my cheek
When the flock goes astray
I will cull their wicked ways
I will drop the dopest opus
And leave them spinning in their graves
I don't subscribe
To your pious lives
I just try to live my life
But if I turned my cheek
I'd be dead in a week
Because the flock has forsaken the meek
So I tell you now
With a clenched fist
And a shovel in the other
You'd better pray
You'd better pray

I have to agree with Mute Serenade in the fact that "dopest opus" is awesome as fuck. This is incredibly succinct and eerily mesmerizing, and I definitely am going to be thinking about this all day. Good job, lovely poet. Rebs:).
