I look in the mirror
And what do I see
Who is this face
Staring at me

Look at these scars
Hear the stories they tell
The story of cancer
And life rebirthed

Look at those feet
All the miles they have walked
The places they have been
Leading to people to meet

Look at those ears
With aids hooked to them
The laugher they hear
And the happy sounds they bring

Look at those things
On her hands and her knees
They help her stand
They help her talk

Look in the mirror
And what do I see
I see the reality
The reality that is me
