Truth behind the Insane
By Glass eyes
why is it that us humans feel pain,
even though none of us are the same.
why is it that we face our fears,
even though we end up in tears.
we say monsters are beings of the night,
who are only here to give us a fright.
but whose to say that we arent the monsters,
and with this i myself begin to ponder.
we say we are equal and that we have rights,
but what about people who we consider crazy and are under close sight.
all types of problems and we say they are nuts,
but what if they arent and we are the mutts.
what if they are normal and that they are right,
but that is something society won't take so they put up a fight.
crazy they say and mentally insane,
when we are the ones that wont break the chain.

Normal is, indeed, relative. It’s a fact that a lot of people seem to forget and forgetting it usually leads to quite a bit of injustice and hurt. Wonderful ink though, I love poems that write about deep meanings such as this.

Beautiful words that seem to echo in chaos and insanity... Melodramatic yet powerful poem. ... Just like we humans are! Very nice poem friend! ...Write on!
