Betrayed (Part 1 of 2)

By Damon Tarloth

This Flows Better When Read At A Fast Pace...

Look in the mirror, and you will see
A lost soul, fading humanity
The price you pay, to live with this pain
What can save you, is also your bane...

Horrific images of your life
Breeding torment, never-ending strife
Walls of anguish to keep them at bay
Sadistic torture, the chosen way...

Deceit corrupts trust, shackled by lies
Stabbed from behind, cut family ties
They turn their back, you no longer matter
Love twisted, broken, as friendships shatter...

Lightning flashes, tears shower the land
Reality hits!!! Can't understand
Fall to your knees, shocked, at how it played
Hated! Devastated! and Betrayed!
