Neon sex

By beamish

Neon visual sex sold to boys that know nothing more than to make noise as she strolls by.
How much for that doggy in the window yells one.
Sorry ma'am, he is just having fun say another.
She doesn't mind as long as shes on their dime.
The problem being there is no respect for self or others.
Society has made a generation of disasters that see woman as toys for their enjoy.
Woman walk on never taking a stand or laying her hand hard on the face or man.
A sexed society that has desensitized the value of a body.
Man believe she is there for the taking.
She has been brain washed into believing her wealth is her body and not her mind.
Let's start over in a world where neither sees thing so simple.
Where we are all judged by life and not by drunk boys who see woman as nothing but sex toys.

Thank you it's a subject that need more attention

  • A former member wrote: The undertone of this writing is clear and candidly presented. When men have suggestive comments to say to a woman, it says nothing about the woman but says volumes about the man. I liked this work for its frankness and bold treatment of a challenging topic. Well done.

It is meant to speak to the power woman should hold and not sell themselves short

This is a well written piece. My favorite line was, "She has been brainwashed into believing her wealth is her body and not her mind." Only thing I see are a few grammatical errors. Clean it up and you've got an awesome poem.
