Venomous words

By beamish

Venomous words spiral from my pen dripping like hot lava towards the paper below

Thought entangled meaning to free my soul, freedom so needed with only one escape

But instead creating more waves in a storm unsure I can weather

I pray to the pen please cut like a surgeon   Let my soul bleed onto the paper.  Let the leaches drain my pain let the paper soak it up again

But at the end I just have scars of a failed cleansing  I need to change my pen to a razor and cut deeper yet again

Astonishing read as each line signifies a greater passion lingering in the smoldering depths below. Your words have a powerful impact, an assured poetic awakening... Indeed. -Bows Scholar
