The Price Of Oil

By SummonerOfShadows666

"for the abused and shamed, let's drink together someday, wherever you may be."

Melancholic appeal in viscosity
We all use you, abuse you
Start wars because of you
And distort, shatter the tranquility

We force you out of your homes
There's no hiding, nowhere to run
Whether you like it or not
Yield your worth to the fat cats

We then split you based on worth
Drug you, tamper with your dignity
Your flammable personality sold the highest
For billions of worthless scented paper

After leaving the Purgatory we call the refinery
You don't say your farewells to your relatives
You instead get drugged to the point of unconsciousness
And sold to the bosses of the world

You entertain them, give them pleasure
While your worthless relatives get heated
And spread across the ground
Only to be stepped and run upon

At the end of your worthless life you
Get blamed, scorned for a thing you never
Intended to do, innocent
Just another slave of the filthy rich
By flying into the air you cause pollution
Then there's another side that hates you -
Humans like them

That's the outcasts for you
The reality of getting sold
For sheets of paper
With large fucking denominations.
Now let's see you replace oil with humans
Do you have what it takes to have
The price of oil?

This poem is deep, both literally and figuratively.I thank you personally for shining a light upon the doom.I would fix the world myself if I could, and the sad part is so often it seems to rather be destroyed in entirety.Justice will come. And of this may we fully be aware.Truly and fully. - Å’
