Untitled. 6.23.15.

By Jessica Orr

hark
and heavens,
as they rebound
tonight.

there was
a memory
of a noise;
she heard
it many times
and thunder
knows
a kin.

there was
a notice,
and soaked
he was;
and dim overhead
lights did meet
him solid.

a door
is not ingenious;
figures realize
within seconds
a key.

if surround is bathed
and outside is watched
I can't and I hear-
and I can't stop.

a faulter,
low chrome stays clean,
not now,
tomorrow is already
sprung good sir;
just warmth is nice,
and forever is his hands.

can she decide secret thought,
air knows
and passing time,
he stays away.
