End Time

By saltyman65

The over ripened sweetness of a sunny mid Fall day,
the Macintosh and Concord grape falling to decay.
The prickles of the chestnut the geranium and mum,
are witness to the crows at play the stones and carrion.
The diminished mid fall buzzings of the heat bugs final days,
remind us of the ends of time amongst these lonely graves.

The breath of winter SM, heralding a common end perhaps, with the dank, cold of the waiting grave. The seasons change, and what once was makes way for the next renewal. Dead bugs and tombstones, well done!
