Drawing Near

By angelunderneath

A tingle
from below lets you know that it is coming
Your senses
in overdrive, every fiber of you acknowledges her arrival
You see
the greyness of a day once yellow with sun
You hear
stillness followed by a gentle rustle of leaves
You taste
the air's coolness, chilling you to the bone
You smell
the distinct aroma of autumn's advance
You feel
.....Yessss....
feel
the rain gently cascading over you

You know that she is coming
And with her all will wither and die
..how beautiful..
How you long to see her commanding show of carnage
upon all that is green and flourishing
The worlds ultimate assasin
is drawing near.....

Mmm Mother natures gift...The seasons ...there is a needful purpose to all of themn and how well you have captured her wiles. What an awesome piece here folks...this was just spellbinding in its complex simplicity!
