Phoenix's Flame

By SinisterSkittles

If I could fly into the sun
Watch them as they run
For only I can see myself
A shattered mirror; a broken dream.

If I could fly into the sky
Maybe I will feel alive
Don't try to tell me it's not real
Now tell me
HOW DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL

I will fly
Watch me burn away
All of yesterday
BURN
FIRE
FALL
PERISH
REBORN

....If I could fly into the light
Would you save me tonight?

You would have to lose all memory of what has happened and all experience. In essence, you would no longer be you. Pain has a way of leaving strength and character behind.

Sometimes it takes you needing to move on and let go of the past to gain insight. Nice delivery on fighting your inner demon. And believe me it's never easy. Well done, love. .hugs. Scholar
