The nativity of man
By daiglepoems
I'm native to a village
near a town
by a city.
I don't rape and pillage though.
I'm native by committee.
I'm native to a county
on an island
in a state.
I'm native to this country.
That's what makes this country great.
I'm native to it's treasures.
To it's picturesque plains.
Native to it's pleasures.
Native to it's pains.
I'm native to the ocans.
To the fishes of the seas.
Native to the motion of the wind in the trees.
Native to the planets
that hang around with me.
Native to those planets
way too far away to see.
Native to their moons
and the stars up above.
Native to those tunes about a world without love.
Native to the Milky Ways
subatomic bond.
Native to life's unknown ways
and all that lies beyond.
I'm native to the human race.
If that don't get me cursed,
I'm native to most anyplace
so long's I get there first.

Awesome! This has such a wonderful rhythm that it feels like a song to me. And i love the wording. 10
