Gray Sadness

By Dreamscape

A splash of warm rain
In a city of angels and demons
A familiar smell of the metro
That reminds me of my childhood years
Eyes filled with pain
They belong to a beautiful woman
That familiar smell of gray sadness
That her glance whispered into my ears

The city takes on the persona of another over the span of a lifetime, or maybe just seen through older eyes? Cheers!
