Hallucinogenics
By Antaya
The walls start to breathe,
The world tilts,
My mind watches the patterns,
It seems like some sort twin snake,
Separating,
Dipping,
Diving,
Soaring,
and
Climbing
through the contours of my head.
I lay in the dark,
And I watch as the show unfolds,
The snakes race back and forth behind my lids,
Extraordinarily congruent,
But exactly the opposite.
I traced the snakes patterns in the air,
Behind my finger tips
A trail of neon blue blazed,
They raced each other across the sky that was my ceiling.
Slipping and gliding through the air,
The blackness breathed,
It's strange,
Fiery breath,
It crushed me,
then left me flailing winglessly through open air,
And right before my body breaks against the ground,
I'm swept in to an ocean.
Neon in color,
Electric to the touch.
I can feel the currents wash over me,
I can feel the electrictiy course over my skin,
But it doesnt hurt,
It makes me feel...
Alive.

Hey Antaya! Sounds like the double helix to me, possibly something locked away in the DNA? Cheers!
